Governor Appoints River Dispute Task Force

Members of a new river dispute task force hope to broker peace between landowners and rafters who float through stretches of private property. The issue came to a head during the last legislative session when a private developer near Crested Butte told two rafting companies they could no longer float along the Taylor River past his ranch.
