Coloradans React to Bin Laden’s Death

May 2, 2011

Canditio Palomarez of Loveland lost his son to the war in Afghanistan. Army Sgt. Issac Palomarez was killed in 2008. On the death of Osama bin Laden, Canditio Palomarez says, "good riddance". He's one of the Coloradans we talked to, whose lives were affected by the September 2001 attacks on the U.S. We hear from a man whose daughter was on board one of the planes that crashed into the World Trade Center, and a CU professor who witnessed the towers' destruction.  And we talk with representatives of Muslim and Pakistani groups in Colorado, on what their members are feeling now that the Al Qaida leader is dead.
