A new project in western Colorado could make it easier for people to take advantage of solar power. It’s called the Garfield County Community Solar Array and it’s an alternative for residents whose homes or businesses aren’t in an ideal place to harness the sun’s energy...or who can’t afford a solar power system for their rooftops.    The five-acre solar farm with 3,575 panels opens tomorrow (6/14/11) at the regional airport in Rifle.  Colorado Public Radio's Anna Panoka spoke with Paul Spencer, founder of the Carbondale-based Clean Energy Collective.
