Here's what's on tap for the week of June 16.  

Monday through wEDNESDay 

Due to CPR's June pledge drive, Colorado Spotlight will be on hiatus until Thursday.

thursday

We celebrate the end of the pledge drive at 6 p.m. Thursday with Charley's look at Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana." .

Also:

At our regular time, 7 p.m., Charley talks with Michael Grace of Colorado College about Brahms' Symphony No. 2. We'll hear a recording of the piece by the Aspen Philharmonic.

friday  

A look at the Takacs Quartet, based in Boulder. We'll also hear them perform Bartok String Quartet No. 1 from last year's Aspen Music Festival.
