The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum will host the community kick-off to the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration tonight from 5:30-7:00 p.m. The event is free, but advance registration is requested.
On Saturday, beginning at 6 p.m., Poetry 719 will host a next “Queer People of Color Open Mic” at the Gallery Below. The evening will be headlined by Natalie Sharp, a Black queer writer, dancer, and activist hailing from Savannah, GA and now based in Denver.
The UCCS Galleries of Contemporary Art will host their next ChitChat event at the Ent Center for the Arts this coming Tuesday at 7 p.m., featuring a mash-up conversation on the topics of virtual reality and kombucha.
