United States Marine Corps 250th Birthday Ball Celebration
When
Event Description
Experience the tradition! Join us for a celebration of the United States Marine Corps’ 250th birthday at the Air & Space Museum. Enjoy an evening of dinner, refreshments and program as we honor 250 years of the Marines’ dedicated service and steadfast commitment to our nation. Hear from our distinguished guest speaker, Major General George B. Rowell, Director of Strategic Planning and Policy for the U.S. Pacific Command (J5). Experience the time-honored traditions of the Marine Corps Birthday Ball, including the ceremonial cake cutting. Your ticket, table, or gift will inspire future generations of aviators and preserve history through exhibits.
Support the dedication of Wings Over the Rockies’ first Marine Corps aircraft, the AV-8B Harrier II+. We are thrilled to showcase this fast, flexible and fierce aircraft that became a legend in close air support for the Marines.
