The Gold King Mine spill of 2015 is the subject of the film, "Acid Mine Nation." The documentary is featured at this year's Colorado Environmental Film Festival.

The 15th Colorado Environmental Film Festival is underway. The event usually takes place in Golden, but this time it’s virtual because of the pandemic. The festival features eco-minded films from all over the world. Thirteen of them come from Colorado filmmakers this year. It’s all happening online through Sunday.

Environmental educator Nicole Bickford, the festival’s director, and filmmaker Dave Steinke, the festival's co-chair, share a sneak peek of some of the films.
