The Decker Fire in Chaffee County has effected KRCC's 95.7 transmission to Salida, Buena Vista and Villa Grove, but we are hopeful that KRCC's fm signal will be broadcasting shortly.
Electrical power to the tower site has been cut for safety concerns, and attempts are being made to reach the tower site on Methodist Mountain via helicopter in order to activate propane generators.
