FREE Public Lecture Archaeology, Symbolism and Sacred Geography in the Inca Heartland

Andean archaeologist Gary Ziegler will give a FREE illustrated presentation of his lifetime of exploration, adventure and discoveries in Peru's remote high Andes cloud forest. He will present highlights of human arrival, cultural evolution and the rise and fall of civilizations in South America. A particular focus will be the rediscovery of important Inca sites with associated work at Machu Picchu and its sister ceremonial complex, Choquequirao.
