Upper Arkansas Cooperative Weed Management Area Annual Conference

Good morning!  I just wanted to let you all know about an upcoming noxious weed control training opportunity that is being held by the UACWMA on February 10th at Pueblo Memorial Hall.  Attendees will receive CDA approved continuing education credits for the following categories:  Public Safety, Environmental protection, Laws & Regulations, IndROW (109), Ag Weed Control (103) and Range (107).  The registration fee is $60 and includes lunch and educational materials.  
This is an excellent, low-cost opportunity to receive CEC's and network with others engaged in regionalstatewide noxious weed control efforts. We will have speakers from the USFS, Colorado Department of Agriculture and county weed managers.  I will be providing a presentation concerning the threat that "buy & dry" properties pose towards our collective weed management efforts and will also speak on best management practices and spill incident response concerning drinking water sources.
