Harnessing the Sun in a Community Garden

While Colorado boasts 300 days of sunshine, a lot of questions still surround the harnessing of that sun for power. It’s not uncommon to see homes or businesses throughout the state with solar panels strapped to roofs, and some developers are working on large, utility scale solar arrays. One young entrepreneur in Colorado Springs has decided there’s another way to channel the power of the sun. KRCC’s Andrea Chalfin reports.
