Remembering George McGovern

Former Senator from South Dakota and 1972 presidential nominee George McGovern has died. In 2009, McGovern visited Colorado College to talk about a book he'd recently published on Abraham Lincoln and to talk about other topics in politics. KRCC's Andrea Chalfin sat down with him for an interview. The original post containing that interview is recreated below, or you can also click on this link.

A Conversation with George McGovern

In his 87 years, George McGovern has served as a World War II pilot, history professor, Senator from South Dakota, and as the 1972 Democratic Presidential nominee. He's also an author, taking part in the American Presidents Series with his book on Abraham Lincoln. McGovern spoke at Colorado College in September 2009.
