On this episode of Air Check, Jeff and Vicky spend some time with former Colorado College sound technician Lewis Keller to review some new earworms. Lewis not only knows a thing or two about the recording studio, but has also had a career as working musician, playing bass for Sony recording artist/singer/songwriter Lissie.
Also, indie folk rock band Over The Rhine graces our studio at 91.5 KRCC with a few songs and several insights into life on the road as husband, wife and musical partners. They are currently touring the U.S. in support of their new record, Love & Revelation.

PART TWO: Over The Rhine
Over The Rhine is an Ohio based band that has been making music together for thirty years. The core is made up of husband and wife team Linford Detweiler and Karin Bergquist. They not only share multi-instrumental, vocal and songwriting talents, but are also the founders of Great Speckled Dog, their independent record label. Time has taken them through college rock, Britpop, grunge, EDM and alt Americana eras but their beautiful, emotionally authentic music has been an anchor throughout. They dropped by the studios of KRCC to share it with us.
