Jim Hill is an audience editor for CPR News. Jim joined Colorado Public Radio’s digital news team in 2016 to help manage content, support strategic thinking for CPR News, and make stories, interviews and features accessible to online audiences.

Bachelor’s degree in speech communication with a concentration in media communication, Colorado State University

Professional background:
Jim came to CPR after spending five years with KUNC in Greeley, Colo., where he helped grow their online audience and served as primary editor for digital content and video. Prior to his tenure with KUNC, Jim held a variety of positions with established media organizations throughout Colorado’s resort and mountain communities. He also took a break from broadcasting to work with Shomotion, LLC, a national concert touring company based in Denver. His career started in 2001 doing radio production and imaging work with Salisbury Broadcasting.

Jim Hill won the Sigma Delta Chi Award in 2013 for his work as part of the KUNC news team that reported on the historic floods that hit the Front Range that year.
