Matt Moret joined CPR News as its morning editor in 2020. He previously worked as a digital editor at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, where he organized the newspaper’s award-winning podcast unit and helped manage the outlet’s digital platforms. While at the Post-Gazette, Matt was also a member of the staff that won a Pulitzer Prize for its breaking news coverage of the Tree of Life synagogue shooting.
